I’m William Sabatini – though everybody simply calls me Billy. I’m a native New Yorker (the Bronx) currently living in the Washington D.C. area.

I’m currently in a job that I love, which is the Vice President of Global Content at WorldSpace Inc. We are the satellite radio company that provides satellite radio to a worldwide audience – with focus in developing markets such as India, the Middle East and South Africa as well as throughout Europe. The position marries many of the things that interest me, namely music, technology, broadcasting, new media, entertainment, creating things from the ground up and developing strategies.
The role has given me the opportunity to do things, think about things, travel to places and have experiences that I never would have even conceived of having. In addition, this position has given me the opportunity to meet and work with people of all cultures, backgrounds and lifestyles in countries all around the world.
In addition to my work at WorldSpace I also write for a website called New Radio Strategies where I discuss, uh, new radio strategies and all sorts of other wonderful things related to the world of radio and digital media.
